Since 2012, as an artist and member of the Swiss Artists' Association, I have been organising up to two solo exhibitions per year in Zurich, as well as participated up to 6 time per year in established international art fairs in Switzerland, UK, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Austria and other countries.
My landscapes, figurative and abstract paintings, art collages, and encaustic artworks are in various private collections in Switzerland and around the world.

"Abstract is Reality" art series by Elena Lagun at SWISSARTEXPO 2021
From August 25th to 29th, 2021 in the SBB Event Hall of Zurich Main Station
Zurich (ptp025/08/20/2021/16:00) - For the third time, SWISSARTEXPO opens its doors in the venerable Zurich main station. Numerous talented artists present their extraordinary works to an excited audience. Among the artists this year, Elena Lagun is represented with her special oil paintings.
"If you know your picture in advance, you don't have to paint it!" - a recommendation from Salvador Dali, who follows Elena Lagun with all her passion and therefore creates creative and imaginative works without rules in a breathtaking oil painting technique. With her art project "Abstract is Reality" she wants to address not only the general public but also art investors and designers. Her impressionist-abstract style paintings are ideal for living spaces, office or hotel interiors, as well as art investments for discerning audiences such as art collectors and business people.
In her wonderful oil painting technique with cold wax, she creates a harmonious combination of different colors and smooth transitions in their halftones. A slightly shimmering 3D effect also enhances the radiant effect of her paintings. In her art studio in Zurich, she inspires her select audience in the heart of Switzerland's largest city. Already at the age of 4 she was a talented painter and draftswoman, imitating the great masters of art history. After studying at the art academy and after graduating from university (economics and finance), the gifted artist graduated from the Art International School in Moscow with a focus on art history.
In her elegant, simple, yet powerful landscape paintings, she strives to reflect the feelings and emotions she is feeling at the time. She was not limited to just one topic or one theory. With her works of art, she tries to convey the beauty and power of nature, people and the world around them to the viewer in details, reflection, movement or in quiet statics. She finds inspiration for her artworks in nature, phenomena, moods and feelings of people, in their fantasies, reflections or in nostalgia.
At this year's SWISSARTEXPO, from August 25th to 29th, she offers visitors the opportunity to find her unique world in her pictures. Elena Lagun is also exhibiting her works NEBELSEE (oil on canvas, 150x120 cm), SUNSET (oil, color pigments on canvas, 100x120 cm) and six works from the "LANDSCAPE" series (watercolor on watercolor paper, 30x30 cm) in the original.
At the same time, the newly issued art catalog will be presented exclusively with even more works by the artist.
